Reflections

My father has several businesses and they are anonymous society companies , he wants his children to also have their own business and he mentioned to us that we should lean towards the same type of legal structure instead of sole proprietorship,  but I had no idea what he was referring to until this week to I did investigate about it. I was able to better understand his old conversations with us, but for the business that I am doing with my sister, the legal structure that best suits us is a  sole proprietorship.  It is cheaper to obtain company registration and licenses. I was a bit scared because of the disadvantages of doing it this way but with the advice of a couple of my classmates and the teacher I was able to gain more confidence and put my fears to rest. We will make a contract with my sister specifying the work of each one, we will also have contracts to transfer copyright to clients who give us testimonials and photos for our page, and we will hire a good ...

This week I learned about what site builders and hosting are and how to choose the right one for me. I never imagined that there were so many of them, I had seen advertisements for a couple of them on you tube and facebook so I was surprised to see that there are too many options and from which I had to choose one, I thought it would be difficult to do it but the advice I found in this week's readings they were quite useful, the videos gave me even more clarity and with the research I had to do I was able to discover that they are all good but I have to find the one that best suits my needs so that was the first thing I had to put on the table before deciding which of them to choose. Added to all of the above, I also received advice from my brother who is a developer and with it I rectified the decision I had made with greater security.

     When I watched you tube videos and heard about receiving support by buying products in the links, I did not fully understand what the youtubers were referring to and to be honest I was never interested, so I did not investigate it, but this week that I read about it I was able to learn the whole thing and how it can be a very well paid source of income and make it a business on the web. I also learned about dropshipping and the basic steps to set up a business with it.     This week was a lot of learning, it opened my mind to a whole new world, but at the same time I felt overwhelmed with so much information to process. I had to watch the videos several times and read the lectures a couple of times to understand what these two business options were all about.
